It’s finally here — competition week for the BeaverTech FTC Robotics team - Shark Bait Ooh-Ha-Ha! After weeks of designing, coding, and testing, our team is ready to put our robot to the test at the Great Lakes Bay Region FTC Qualifier, held at Bullock Creek High School on November 7–8.
The event kicks off on Friday with team setup and robot inspections, followed by a full day of matches and judging on Saturday. Our students have been meeting every Tuesday and Friday after school, refining every detail of our design, code, and strategy to prepare for this moment.
This will be the first major competition of our FTC season, and we can’t wait to see how our hard work stacks up against teams from across the region. No matter the outcome, we’re proud of how far our team has come — building not only a robot, but also teamwork, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
